Current Challenges and Future Directions in Clinical Mycology 21th Scientific Meeting of the Nordic Society for Medical Mycology (NSMM)

The next NSMM Scientific meeting will be held in Stockholm on the 18^th of September 2026 at the Karolinska University Hospital, Solna.

The scientific meeting will be on site only, which gives the opportunity to meet and discuss with colleagues from other Nordic countries and NSMM board members.

The program will cover recent advances in fungal diagnostics, host–pathogen interactions, invasive Candida infections in the Nordic countries, and emerging antifungal therapies. Particular attention will be given to mucormycosis, from laboratory diagnosis to clinical case management. The meeting will conclude with interactive case discussions and presentations of ongoing research projects from across the Nordic countries.
